Malyala Rajaiah (25 February - 15 October ) was an Indian politician and the Member of parliament who represented Siddipet parliamentary constituency from to , and served as the member of legislative assembly for Andhol constituency in which only ended in until he contested 12th Lok Sabha and 13th General elections of India.
Life and background
Malyala Rajaiah was born on 25 February in Vedira village of Karimnagar, Telangana. He did Bachelor of Arts in Hyderabad from a college and Bachelor of Laws at Osmania University, Hyderabad. He started practising as an Advocate in Secunderabad city civil court.
Career
Prior to his political engagement, he was serving as a Judge in state of Andhra Pradesh from to He practiced as an Advocate from to Before that, he had also worked in South central Railways for 8 years. In , he contested assembly election and assumed office as a Member of the Legislative Assembly. He was appointed as a Chairman of Estimates legislative committee which he has served for 4 years, until , and as a Finance and Power minister from February to November in Rao’s Cabinet. In , he was re-elected for the assembly and was appointed as a chairman of SC legislative committee. He was appointed as a Member of TTD( Thirupati Thirumala Devasthanam) board in In , when he was serving as MLA, he was credited with state Housing ministry until It was when he contested 12th General elections of India from Siddipet constituency and served as a member of parliament until He was then re-elected in 13th Lok Sabha elections with highest majority in the State and remained in office till During this period, he was the member of parliamentary committee on Defence, Industries and parliamentary committee on SC’s and ST’s.

Early life
Rajaiah was born in Lingapur village Manakondur Mandal in Karimnagar district to Bakkaiah and Shanthamma. He did his (Agriculture) from Agricultural University.
Career
Siricilla Rajaiah is an Indian National Congress party politician and represented Warangal parliamentary constituency during He lost his MP seat in General elections to Kadiyam Srihari. After Kadiyam Srihari resigned, Sircilla Rajaiah was selected by the Congress to contest in the by-elections. Rajaiah did not contest after the death of his grand children and daughter in law.
Personal life
Rajaiah is married to Madhavi. They have a son and a daughter.
Controversies
Rajaiah's daughter-in-law and three grand children died in a suicidal fire accident in his residence. Rajaiah's son Anil had an extramarital affair which was supported by Rajaiah & his wife. As per the emails and letters revealed after the death of Sarika, it was confirmed that her husband and in-laws harassed her to the core which is widely believed to be cause of the fire suicide. Congress party suspended Rajaiah immediately. As per the sources, Rajaiah & Sarika had a very big fight the night when the incident happened, which provoked Sarika to take this extreme step. Sarika had earlier filed a harassment case against her husband which was in pending. Rajaiah along with his wife and son were arrested by the police in connection with the case

Ex-MP Sircilla Rajaiah and his family acquitted in suicide of daughter-in-law
Warangal: Former Congress MP Sircilla Rajaiah, along with his son Anil and wife Madhavi, was acquitted in a case of suicide of his daughter-in-law and three grandsons on Tuesday by the special sessions court for trial of criminal cases relating to the MPs and MLAs here.
Rajaiah's daughter-in-law Sarika and his three grandsons were found burnt to death in their bedroom after leaking LPG exploded at their home on November 4,
Following a complaint lodged by Sarika's parents against the former Congress MP, his son and wife, a case was registered for harassment and demanding dowry in the Subedari police station in Hanamkonda. They were later arrested and secured bail in February The case was later transferred to Hyderabad in where the special court conducted trial.
It is to be noted that the death of Sarika occurred when Rajaiah was selected as the Congress candidate for the Warangal byelection. The party dropped him after the cases were filed.
