    Developing plot and characters well

    Bosch is in the media for the wrong reasons again.

    This is a decent episode that slow burns the plot and relationships between characters. There are no big revelations in the story but it lays the foundations well for what potentially might be coming.

    Some scenes of characters personal and professional lives entwining is quite enjoyable and it's good to get to know them more outside the LAPD environment. I like how Bosch's dynamic with Maddie has changed with their closer association.

    I think the baddies are fairly one-note characters so far, who feel generically evil, greedy and arrogant in a way that makes you dislike them. For me, more is needed to make them memorable or interesting beyond stock villains.

    All performances are solid and the production values are great.
