Summary of tv  show:

Teenager Callie Jacob is placed in a foster home with a lesbian couple and their blend of biological, adoptive, and foster children.

Stef Foster and Lena Adams, a lesbian couple, have a family of adopted, biological, and foster children. Mariana and Jesus are adopted 15-year-old twins and Brandon is Stef’s 16-year-old biological son from a previous marriage. Everything is going fine in the house until Callie and Jude arrive. 16-year-old Callie and her 12-year-old brother Jude have been in many different foster homes, but when they are placed with the Fosters, things begin to happen. In this series, the Fosters will deal with many different issues: hook-ups, break-ups, romances, and important life lessons.

I really liked this show (you can even say loved). I think it was a great show, with great characters.

Like with most shows, I really needed a break from it on a certain moment (I can’t remember when). It was not that I didn’t like the story, because I did.

I think that the characters were well-written. The Adams Foster family is one big family, where it doesn’t matter where you come from. They will love you for you. That’s one of the things I love about this show. Also, a big part of the show, Stef (Teri Polo) and Lena (Sherri Saum) were fighting for Callie’s (Maia Mitchell) adoption, and they never gave up.

‘It’s not where you come from, it’s where you belong.’

Lena Adams Foster

What I admire most about the show, I think, is that Stef and Lena take all these kids in, to take care of them and that they do that with their entire heart, they open up their home for them.

What I didn’t really like, but what I understand that the producers had to do that, is that the producers ended the relationship between Callie and Brandon (David Lambert). At first (the first two season

    Main characters

    Stef Adams Foster

    Portrayed by Teri Polo

Stefanie "Stef" Marie Adams Foster (seasons 1–5) is a police officer. She and Mike Foster, her partner at work, are Brandon's biological parents. They divorced shortly after Stef met Lena and realized she's a lesbian and wanted to be with her. In a flashback in episode 9, when she first met the twins, it is shown that she has a very caring nature despite her tough appearance. At the end of episode 1x10, Stef and Lena are officially married, legally cementing their long-term union of ten years. Stef is very strong and tough, but is also very funny and loving. Callie initially doesn't feel comfortable around her due to her position as a cop, but gradually forms a close bond with her. While Stef likes to act tough around everyone, especially Lena, it is shown that she cares a great deal about her wife and family, although she won't hesitate to discipline her kids if need be.

    Lena Adams Foster

    Portrayed by Sherri Saum

Lena Elizabeth Adams Foster (seasons 1–5) is the biracial vice principal of the charter school the kids attend. She's Stef's wife, Brandon's stepmother, and the other children's adoptive/foster mother. She is good with kids, and often tries to reason with her kids more so than punish them, in contrast to Stef's often "quick to act" nature. It was Lena who decided to take Callie in after she was released from the juvenile detention center. Lena is very aware of the people around her. At the end of season 1, she is artificially inseminated with co-worker T
