    H. E. Carter

    American biochemist and educator

Herbert Edmund Carter (September 25, 1910 – March 4, 2007) was an American biochemist and educator. He grew up in central Indiana and received his bachelor's degree from DePauw University. He received a Ph.D. in 1934 in organic chemistry from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Was elected to the National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.

    Career

He remained at Illinois as a member of the faculty and served as head of the department of chemistry and chemical engineering (1954–1967) and later as vice chancellor for academic affairs (1968–1971). It was at the University of Illinois that Carter in collaboration with William C. Rose, determined the structure of threonine.

Following his retirement from Illinois in 1971, he moved to the University of Arizona and established the very successful Office of Interdisciplinary Programs. He recognized that the processes and systems underlying individual disciplines are remarkably similar and interdependent, and concluded that what lies in between disciplines—the area of interdisciplinarity—is where future developments, discoveries, and training programs would flourish. The Herbert E. Carter Travel Award is named in his honor. He created and headed the University Department of Biochemistry (1977–1980). He remained active at the University of Arizona until the age of 94.

Carter was also active in the scientific community. He played important roles as President of the American Society of Biological Chemists (1956–1957) and as member (1954) and chair of many important committees of the United States National Academy of Sciences, the National Research Council, the Gordon Research Conferences, the National Institutes of Health, and the National Science Foundation. He served as a member, and then as chairman, of the National Science Board. In recognition of his contributions at the Nati

I'm not feeling well today due to my shitty physical condition. But regardless, EP time and this comes from an EP that was originally plagiarized by someone. However, it's my time for redoing this EP and this movie in question came from my childhood so I have a bit of a soft-spot. I know for the fact that one person had an interest with it and said person is none other than Ivan. However, I fortunately got a permission from him and decided to make this EP. Which candidate and movie we are talking about? Well let's find out!

    What’s the Work[]

Charlie’s Angels is a 2000 action-comedy movie based on the TV series from the 70s with the same name. Now, for those who don’t know about Charlie’s Angels, it essentially focuses on three girls known as the Angels that served a mysterious, faceless millionaire named Charlie Townsend who mostly communicated through a radio to contact the Angels and also through his subordinate named Bosley. It was also revealed that Charlie found an agency known as the Townsend Agency and with it, both Charlie and his angels tried to solve crimes and fight against bad guys along the way. Now, the movie itself focuses on the 2000 movie starring Cameron Diaz as Natalie Cook, Drew Barrymore as Dylan Sanders and Lucy Liu as Alex Munday. Directed by someone with the alias of McG or better known as Joseph McGinty Nichol, while the movie has a mixed-to-positive reactions from the critics, it was a box office success. And yes, if I forgot to say something, the movie also have a rather interesting twists and turns which I won’t spoil unless you watch it for yourself. Eventually, said success ended up creating the sequel of this movie and this sequel is the one we are going to talk about today.

Now yes, the 2000 movie had a sequel released in 2003 known as Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle. While the Angels, Natalie, Dylan and Alex are still continuing their job as Angels and stopping the bad guys from their plans, the story started with them
