Milow is the stage name of Belgian singer-songwriter Jonathan Vandenbroeck (born 14 July 1981 in Borgerhout). He is one of the most successful DIY musicians in Europe
Combining folk with acoustic pop elements and beginning in 2003, Milow released his debut album, The Bigger Picture, in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records. The fourth single from that album, "You Don't Know," became one of the biggest hit singles of the year in Belgium in 2007.
Milow's acoustic cover of 50 Cent's "Ayo Technology," released in 2008, stayed on the charts for over 340 weeks in 14 different countries. The video also went viral on YouTube with over 50 million views. Milow followed the immense success of the single by quickly releasing a self-titled studio album. Three years later, he has sold over 650,000 albums and more than 1.15 million singles.
“North and South,” recorded in Belgium and partially mixed in Los Angeles by two-time Grammy-winner Tony Maserati (Beyonce Knowles, Jason Mraz, Robbie Robertson), was released in 2011. The mastering was done in New York City by Dave Kutch (The Roots, Erykah Badu, Outkast). The video for the first single, “You and Me (In My Pocket),” is available on YouTube.

Jonathan Ivo Gilles Vandenbroeck (Dutch:[ˈjoːnaːtɑɱvɑndə(m)ˈbruk]; born 14 July 1981), known professionally as Milow, is a Belgian singer-songwriter. Milow released his debut album, The Bigger Picture, in 2006 on his own label Homerun Records. The fourth single from that album, "You Don't Know," became one of the biggest hit singles of the year in Belgium in 2007, and The Bigger Picture stayed on the Belgian album chart for 110 weeks. However, it was not until his second self-released album Coming of Age in 2008 (in 2009 renamed and repackaged as Milow), that Milow achieved major commercial success all over mainland Europe. The album peaked at number three on the German Album Top 50 chart, at number four in the Swiss Album Top 100, and peaked in the top twenty of many European charts. The album reached platinum in Germany and Switzerland, it reached gold in France, the Netherlands, and Belgium, and it sold over 500,000 copies in mainland Europe and Canada.
Milow's international breakthrough came with the release of the single "Ayo Technology", a song originally written and recorded by 50 Cent, Justin Timberlake and Timbaland, from the album Milow. The single peaked at number one in the Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Switzerland, Belgium, peaked at number two in Germany, Spain, Austria, and peaked in the top ten in France, Italy and Finland. The song was a huge commercial success, receiving a platinum certification in Germany, Sweden, Switzerland, Be
Keith Milow
British artist (born 1945)
Keith Milow (born 29 December 1945) is a British artist. He grew up in Baldock, Hertfordshire, and lived in New York City (1980–2002) and Amsterdam (2002–2014), now lives in London. He is an abstract sculptor, painter and printmaker. His work has been characterised as architectural, monumental, procedural, enigmatic and poetical.
Biography
Keith Milow was educated at The Knights Templar School in Baldock, Camberwell School of Art, 1962–1967, and Royal College of Art, 1967–1968. In 1970 he received a Gregory Fellowship from Leeds University, which was followed in 1972 by a Harkness Fellowship to the USA.
During the 1970s, Milow was considered part of the British artistic avant-garde along with artists such as Richard Long, Gilbert & George, Michael Craig-Martin, Mark Lancaster, Tim Head, Nicholas Pope, John Walker, David Tremlett, Barry Flanagan, Art & Language and Derek Jarman. According to art historian Jo Melvin, Milow "helped to shape and define a critical period of new and experimental art practices in Britain when the distinctions between painting and sculpture and equally importantly between figuration and abstract collapsed".
Throughout his career Keith Milow has been pre-occupied with the form of the Latin cross which resulted in several hundred cross sculptures as well as drawings. During the 1990s, he produced series of disc-shaped sculptures ('tondi') that pay tribute to what he considered the great artists of the 20th century. Paintings from this period frequently contain names from this personal canon of modern art. Some of his painting and drawing demonstrate a mathematical precision that has the appearance of being computer-generated. Often his work is the result of a direct response to other artists' oeuvres, notably the Dutch painter Piet Mondrian. In the words of Jo Melvin: "Milow's work is infused in the history of painting, the subject of painting and its me
Having recently supported Steven Tyler of Aerosmith at LaconiaFest in New Hampshire, USA, Sylvia G will be back in the studio in January 2018 to record tracks for a brand new album. The album will be produced by top British record producer Stuart Epps (Elton John, Oasis, Robbie Williams), and released by UK based label Right Recordings later this year.
Sylvia G, formerly Milow The Girl, has led an unusual life. The Swiss artist grew up surrounded by lion cubs, chimpanzees, a baby elephant and a menagerie of exotic wildlife. She travelled the world from a young age, and is fluent in six languages. Her love for animals goes back as far as she can remember, but her venture into music came much later.
Her singing career started in 2007 when her song Waking Up received the award for Best Dance Track at the USA Songwriting Competition. The award helped her to secure live performances at high profile festivals and venues including the Montreux Jazz Festival (Switzerland), the Shanghai International Music Festival (China), Le Reservoir Club (Paris), and the Whiskey A Go-Go (Los Angeles). Two years later she received the award for Best European Singer at the LA Music Awards.
In 2010 she signed to US based label Realize Records. That same year the label released her debut album Days of Power, recorded in Miami with French producer Charlie Nestor. Joe Jackson's guitarist Vinnie Zummo collaborated on some of the tracks.
Her second album 32,000 Feet Above was released in 2012. The album was recorded in Nashville and Los Angeles with award winning producer Robert Venable (former Evanescence drummer, and producer of Megadeth and INXS). It features musicians Kendra Chantelle (American Idol), Thad Beaty (Beyonce, Sugarland), and rapper Kuf Knotz, and produced several successful singles including Beautiful World and Distraction. In 2013 Milow The Girl partnered with Right Recordings to release the single Distraction, remixed by Timothy Allan and Loverush. The song went on
