A press conference was held at GAU Istanbul Campus for the film “Seni Seviyorum Adamım”  (I Love You Man) which was sponsored by GAU and in which most of the scenes were filmed in the TRNC.   Actors Gizem Karaca, Barış Kılıç, Murat Serezli, Aslı Omağ, on behalf of VTR Production Galip Gültekin, Producer Biray Dalkıran also the CEO of GAU and the Vice Chancellor of the Board of Administrators - Assistant Professor Dr. Asım Vehbi were present.

The film "Seni Seviyorum Adamım (I Love You Man)" produced by the VTR Production which brings together TV screen’s loved faces Gizem Karaca and Barış Kılıç will be released on 21 November  2014.

With the Directorship of Biray Dalkıran the film set forth, emphasizes the state of Yeşilçam films adapted to the present. In the film, after the bad days he has experienced, Berk (Barış Kılıç) becoming disillusioned towards life moves to Cyprus, after meeting Ezel (Gizem Karaca) his life changes completely. The press presentation of the film that expresses the events Berk and Ezel went through in order to continue their lives in a completely different dimension was held at the GAU Istanbul Campus.

At the press conference of the film “Seni Seviyorum Adamım (I Love You Man)“ held at the GAU Istanbul Campus statements were made about the film.

VTR Production owner and producer of the film - Galip Gültekin in his statement at the press conference said;

“As the expression Seni Seviyorum Adamım (I Love You Man) has never been said to me I wanted a film with this name. This film seems to have highlighted the men, I hope to put my signature on a film that will highlight women with the name "Seni Seviyorum Kadınım (I Love You Woman)". Biografia

Nata nel 1992 a Istanbul (Turchia) dalla madre Münevver, di origine albanese e dal padre Cüneyt Karaca, di origine turca immigrata da Salonicco (prima nell'Impero ottomano e ora in Grecia), Gizem ha trascorso la sua infanzia negli Stati Uniti d'America, dove ha frequentato la scuola primaria e in Canada, dove ha frequentato la scuola secondaria. Durante gli anni del liceo è tornata in Turchia e dopo aver conseguito il diploma, ha deciso di iscriversi presso il dipartimento di lingua e letteratura francese della facoltà di lettere dell'Università di Istanbul, dove al termine degli studi ha conseguito la laurea. Dopo essersi laureata, ha deciso di partecipare al concorso di bellezza per sfuggire alle lezioni difficili. Nel 2011 ha partecipato al concorso di bellezza Miss Turchia, dove è arrivata seconda.

Dopo essere apparsa in un episodio della serie Il secolo magnifico (Muhteşem Yüzyıl), nel 2012 ha accettato di interpretare il ruolo della protagonista Muazzez nella serie Eve Düşen Yıldırım. Nello stesso anno ha interpretato il personaggio principale di Güneş Sancaktar nella serie Adını Feriha Koydum. In seguito alla cancellazione della serie, nell'estate del 2013 è tornata per un breve periodo negli Stati Uniti per studiare recitazione presso la New York Film Academy. Nel 2013 e nel 2014 ha ottenuto il ruolo di Umut Özden nella serie Benim Hala Umudum Var.

Nel 2014 ha compiuto il suo esordio al cinema con il ruolo principale di Ezel nel film Seni Seviyorum Adamım, accanto all'attore Barış Kılıç. Nel 2014 e nel 2015 ha interpretato il ruolo principale di Gül Sümbül nella serie Güzel Köylü.

Gizem Karaca (nació el 7 de septiembre de 1992) es una actriz y modelo turca. Pasó su infancia entre Estados Unidos y Canadá, volvió a Turquía en su adolescencia. Ella participó en el concurso Miss Turquía en el 2011 y quedó en el segundo puesto. Esto le posibilitó representar a Turquía en el concurso Miss Mundo en el 2011.​​

Carrera

Después de ganar el Departamento de Lengua y Literatura Francesa de la Universidad de Estambul, Miss Turquía decidió participar en el concurso de belleza para escapar de las últimas lecciones, Miss Turquía 2011 participó en el concurso de belleza y fue primera finalista. Después del concurso tuvo varias propuestas para iniciar su carrera como actriz. Empezó en el 2012 en Eve Düşen Yildirim. En 2012 obtuvo su segundo papel en televisión, interpretó a Güneş Sancaktar en la serie Emir'in Yolu. Después de la cancelación de la serie se fue a Estados Unidos por un tiempo para estudiar actuación en la Academia de Cine de Nueva York. Regresó a la pantalla en verano de 2013 en la serie Benim Hala Umudum Var. En 2014 la bella actriz protagonizó su primera película llamada I Love You, Seni Seviyorum Adamım con Barış Kılıç. La película se estrenó el 21 de noviembre. Ese mismo año comenzó a transmitirse en Star TVGüzel Köylü, serie que protagonizó junto a Mehmet Ali Nuroğlu y Berk Cankat. La serie finalizó el 17 de junio de 201
