A former club and FM radio DJ, Christiane’s love of dark subculture and music infuses her work. They write hopeful, magical stories set in the Fae infused version of their already quirky hometown, Baltimore MD.

She is a lifelong enthusiast of faerie, folktales, forests and fauna, especially combined in copious amounts with all-black clothing and some Joy Division or Bauhaus playing in the headphones.

Long, ridiculous Bio for those who want to know more.

I’m Christiane, a writer and fiber artist in Baltimore MD. I am also sometimes a goth/industrial/postpunk DJ, and I used to be a club promoter and FM radio DJ. In fact, my entire resume is filled with improbable career choices &#; it’s a whole thing. I own the online streaming radio station Radio Xiane and sometimes do radio shows there. If you like the music in my book soundtracks, you’ll love what we put on the air.

I use she/they pronouns interchangeably, thank you for asking! 😉

I’ve published two books and several shorts in the Stories of the Eleriannan series, with a third coming out in May Before that, I was published in a stack of ‘zines and small press publications, as well as being the editor and publisher of three of my own: boneyard, Through The Trees, and The House of Three Ravens. Other ‘zines who have published my work include Gibbering Madness, Nyx Obscura, and Ghastly.

I write upbeat and hopeful contemporary fantasy set in the Fae infused version of the already quirky Baltimore MD. My writing focuses on topics like forgiveness, responsibility, found family, the ethics of power, and community building for all. Oh, and don&#;t forget the music; there&#;s always music.

I&#;m available for readings and as a speaker/panelist at literary events. I help aspiring and new authors work through impostor syndrome, how to get started writing their first storie

Teaserama is a American low-budget sexploitation film directed by Irving Klaw. It follows the performance of a burlesque show.

Plot

Teaserama is presented as a documentary film, with all actors and actresses playing themselves. It opens with Bettie Page assisting Tempest Storm with her brassiere. Afterwards, when the show begins, Page introduces the acts by showing placards with the names of the acts. Stripteases are provided by Tempest Storm, Chris La Chris, Twinnie Wallen, Trudy Wayne, Vicki Lynn, and Cherry Knight. Burlesque comedy is provided by Joe E. Ross and Dave Starr.

Production

The film was directed by Irving Klaw, who was known for producing bondage photographs for distribution through the mail. Redheaded burlesque dancer Tempest Storm was cast for the leading role.

Playboy Playmate of Bettie Page, whom Klaw had previously directed, was cast as a second-tier dancer. Page, who had previously appeared in Striporama () and Varietease (), performed three dance routines, including one alongside star Tempest Storm. Teaserama was the last mainstream film in which Page had a major role.

Vicki Lynn, who had also previously appeared in Varietease, appeared in drag in the film. According to film historian Eric Schaefer, Lynn's performance in Teaserama was presented with "the same degree of sensuality and tease as the strips by women" and as "erotic to heterosexual men". He considers the number a form of "gender sabotage" against the prevailing sexual norms of the time.

According to a review by Variety, the film was produced almost entirely without pr
