Synopsis[]
When you go from the top of the pecking order in the looks department in high school and then fall to the bottom in adulthood, is it possible to get back on top?
Kang Joo Eun (Shin Min Ah) was envied by every girl and desired by every boy in high school as the "Daejeon Venus" because of her pretty face and killer figure. Despite coming from a poor family, Joo Eun was determined to go to law school and become an attorney.
At age 33, she has achieved her professional goals and has been in a stable relationship with her high school boyfriend, Im Woo Sik (Jung Gyu Woon), for 15 years. But she has let herself go over the years and is now overweight and often disregarded and overlooked by society and her coworkers.
On the plane ride back from a quick business trip to the United States, Joo Eun has an embarrassing run-in with Kim Yeong Ho (So Ji Sub) and his two sidekicks, Jang Joon Seong (Sung Hoon) and Kim Ji Woong (Henry Lau).
Yeong Ho is a celebrity personal trainer who is involved in a scandal in the United States and forced to flee to Korea until things cool down. But his wealthy family has other plans for him. As soon as they discover that he is back in Korea, his grandmother appoints

Kim Jee-woon (Korean: 김지운; born July 6, 1964) is a South Korean film director, screenwriter, and producer. He was a theater actor and director before debuting with his self-written and directed film, The Quiet Family in 1998. Kim has worked with increasing levels of success in cinema, showing accomplished acting and a detailed stylization in his films. He is currently one of the most recognized screenwriters/directors in the Korean film industry.
His films A Tale of Two Sisters (2003) and A Bittersweet Life (2005) were both critical and commercial successes. He is also known for the films The Foul King (2000), The Good, the Bad, the Weird (2008) and I Saw the Devil (2010).
Early life
Kim Jee-woon was born on July 6, 1964, in Seoul, South Korea and is the youngest of six siblings. He grew up in Samgak-dong, a neighborhood between present day Jongno and Euljiro. His grandfather was a tailor. When he was young, Kim's father frequently took him to the cinema where he was exposed to many classic European films. This exposure inspired him dreaming of becoming film maker.
In 1983, Kim entered the Department of theater at Seoul Institute of the Arts. After dropping out of school, Kim stayed in Paris for three months in 1991 and watched about 100 films during Cahiers du Cinéma's 40-year anniversary film festival. Kim built up his career in the field by writing and directing several plays, including Hot Sea (1994) and Movie Movie (1995). He also acted onstage in the musical Guys and Dolls (1983) and Anton Chekhov's play The Seagull.

She is currently affiliated with the artist management company Vibe Actors. Kim Ji-hyun was born on January 2, 1982. In her youth, she didn't have a specific dream but would casually mention wanting to be a scientist or a teacher when asked. She started to think seriously about her future after enrolling at Ulsan Girls' High School [ko]. Her older sister, who was already in college, prompted her to consider her future major, leading Kim to contemplate her options. During her first year of high school, Kim befriended a classmate who had experience with theater club in middle school. Together, they proposed starting a theater club and, with a teacher's support, successfully launched it.
